NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT
ON PROPOSED LICENSE AGREEMENT RENEWAL WITH
CAPE & ISLANDS TRANSPORT, INC.
The Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority (“the Authority”) seeks public comments regarding the following proposed license agreement:
- a renewal of the Authority’s license agreement with Cape & Islands Transport, Inc. to operate a passenger-only ferry service between Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard (Edgartown).
The Authority requests the public to submit written comments regarding the proposed renewals. All comments must be received by the Authority’s General Manager, Robert B. Davis, no later than Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the following address: by email at rdavis@steamshipauthority.com or by regular mail addressed to him, c/o Steamship Authority, 228 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth, MA 02540.
The public can view and download all of the licensed operators’ current license agreements, as well as their requests for renewals , by going to the Authority’s website, www.steamshipauthority.com, and clicking on “About” and then on “News” to see the License Agreements category. All of those documents are also available for inspection during regular business hours at the Authority’s General Offices.
