The Steamship Authority is currently accepting applications to fill the full-time, seasonal union position of Dock Worker at the Steamship Authority's Hyannis terminal.
The Dock Worker's responsibilities include docking vessels, ticket handling, assisting in staging and directling traffic around terminal area, security checks of passengers and vehicles long with other duties assigned by supervisor. This position requires a valid driver's license for driving passenger vehicles on and off the vessels.
Applicants must be friendly, courteous, and enjoy working with, and assisting customers. Starting pay is $29.48 per hour for the first 45 days from hire, increasing to $31.98 per hour threafter.
