The Steamship Authority is currently accepting applications to fill the full-time, seasonal, union position of Janitor at the Steamship Authority's Hyannis terminal.
The Janitor's responsibilities will include maintaining the interior and exterior of the buildings such as emptying trash, cleaning washrooms, offices, floors, mopping, replacing lightbulbs and related cleaning functions. This position will on occasion assist with Dock Worker duties at the terminals as needed.
General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques is desired along with a strong work ethic and ability to get along with others. Starting pay is $30.79 per hour for the first 45 days from hire, and then $33.29 per hour thereafter.
