Informational open houses on 2025 preliminary budget

FALMOUTH (October 8, 2024) – The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority (SSA) has scheduled a series of informational open houses about the preliminary 2025 Operating Budget and Rate Adjustments.

At each workshop, Treasurer Mark Rozum and Assistant Treasurer Courtney Oliveira will be available to review and answer questions about the preliminary budget and rate adjustments and about the Authority’s finances.

The workshops are scheduled as follows:

  • Nantucket: 3:45-5:45 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, Nantucket Public Safety Facility, second-floor conference room, 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket.
  • Martha’s Vineyard: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Tisbury Senior Center, 34 Pine Tree Road, Vineyard Haven.
  • Falmouth: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024: Steamship Authority Administrative Offices, 228 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth.

Since 1960, the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has served as the transportation lifeline to the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard year round.
