Next series of open house information sessions scheduled for reservation system project
FALMOUTH (March 20, 2026) – The Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has scheduled its next series of open house information sessions on proposed policy changes stemming from the implementation of the company’s new reservation system.
These sessions will focus on the change, cancellation, and no-show policies for customer travel. Other topics to be discussed include the subscription functionality for special programs and discounts and vouchers or refunds replacing pending or open tickets. At each session, the True North Initiative project team and SSA personnel will be available to review these proposed changes and answer questions about the overall functionality of the reservation system.
In-person sessions
Nantucket: 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, Nantucket Public Safety Building, 4 Fairgrounds Road, Nantucket.
Martha’s Vineyard: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Martha’s Vineyard Museum, 151 Lagoon Pond Road, Vineyard Haven.
Virtual sessions
Virtual sessions are scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, via Zoom. The virtual sessions will address both the Hyannis-Nantucket route and Woods Hole-Martha’s Vineyard route, and the opening presentation will be the same at each session. Attendees should visit https://bit.ly/TrueNorthinfosession at the time of the meeting to join the virtual sessions, which will be recorded and posted to the Authority’s YouTube page.

Since 1960, the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority has served as the transportation lifeline to the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard year round.
