The Steamship Authority is accepting applications to fill the full-time, seasonal, union position of Janitor at the Steamship Authority's Vineyard Haven terminal.
The Janitor's responsibilities will include maintaining the interior and exterior of the buildings such as emptying trash, cleaning washrooms, offices, floors, mopping, replacing lightbulbs and related cleaning functions. This position will on occasion assist with Dock Worker duties at the terminal as needed.
General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques is desired along with a strong work ethic and ability to get along with others. Starting pay is $26.68 per hour. Must have housing on Martha's Vineyard.
