Can I obtain a parking permit instead of paying the daily parking rates?

Answer:

Yes. In lieu of paying parking charges on a calendar-day basis, eligible customers may purchase parking permits that allow them to park at specific parking facilities on the mainland from May 15th of one year to May 14th of the following year for a flat fee. Customers may also purchase parking permits that allow them to park at specific parking facilities on the mainland only during the off-season period from September 15th through May 14th; provided, however, that the Authority allows bona fide students and teachers to have off-season permits which are valid for a time period that coincides with their academic year.
