Directions to Hyannis:  Map directions to the Hyannis Terminal

From New York City Area:
Follow Route 95 to Providence, RI; Route 195 to Wareham, MA; Route 25 to the Bourne Bridge (follow signs for Cape & Islands); Route 6 to Exit 7; Yarmouth Road/Willow Street. At the end of off-ramp, take a left onto Willow Street. At traffic lights go straight until you reach stop sign. Take right onto Main Street. Take next left onto Pleasant Street. At stop sign turn left onto South Street and terminal is on your right.

From Boston Area:
Follow Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) to Route 6 over the Sagamore Bridge to Route 6, Exit 7; Yarmouth Road/Willow Street. At the end of off-ramp, take a left onto Willow Street. At traffic lights go straight until you reach stop sign. Turn right onto Main Street and take next left onto Pleasant Street. At stop sign turn left onto South Street and the terminal is on your right.

From Upper Cape Area (Falmouth):
Take Route 28 into Hyannis. At Airport Rotary take your first right onto Barnstable Road; this road turns into Ocean Street; At second set of lights turn left onto Center Street. At next set of lights turn left onto Main Street and take your first right onto Pleasant Street. At stop sign turn left onto South Street and the terminal is on your right.

From Lower Cape Area (Provincetown):
Take Route 6 to Exit 7. At the end of off-ramp, take a left onto Willow Street. At traffic lights go straight until you reach stop sign. Turn right onto Main Street and take next left onto Pleasant Street. At stop sign turn left onto South Street and the terminal is on your right.

  • Hyannis to Boston: 78 miles
  • Hyannis to Providence: 73 miles
  • Hyannis to Sagamore Bridge: 18 miles (25 minutes)


Easy Arrival Procedures
All passengers and vehicles must arrive at the dock at least one-half hour prior to scheduled departure time ready for boarding. We suggest you arrive forty-five minutes to one hour prior to the scheduled departure time during the summer months, particularly July and August. Passenger capacity may be reached on popular sailings prior to departure time.

Upon arrival at the terminal, our uniformed attendants will direct you to a convenient location for unloading of passengers and baggage. Public restrooms are available on board each vessel and inside our terminals.

Beverages, sandwiches and snacks are available at the food service concessions on our vessels.

Travel time between Hyannis and Nantucket is approximately two hours and fifteen minutes on our conventional ferries and approximately one hour on our High-Speed passenger only vessel.
